SuneKos
SuneKos is an injectable skin boosting treatment that uses a patented formula which combines amino acids (the essential building blocks of elastin and collagen) with hyaluronic acid. SuneKos improves the quality of dermis by stimulates the Extra Cellular Matrix (ECM) of your skin which will deeply hydrates and plumps the treated area. This leads to ‘dermal biogenesis’. The result? A reduction in the severity of your wrinkles, hydration to both the superficial and deep layers of your skin, a desirable volumising effect and a dramatic boost to your elastin and collagen.
This treatment is perfect if you have loose, crepey, thin skin and/or areas which have lost volume, including tear troughs. It is also suited to help reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles and dark circles. SuneKos can significantly regenerate dull skin and restore a natural-looking, youthful appearance.
There are two types of SuneKos; SuneKos 200 and SuneKos 1200.
SuneKos 200 is perfect for earlier signs of ageing and it is used to treat face, around the eyes, neck, chest and hands.
SuneKos 1200 is used in conjunction with SuneKos 200 if your skin needs extra structural support to improve sagging skin or if you have deeper, more advanced wrinkles. Your specific requirements will be assessed and discussed with you prior to the treatment.
There are two protocols for Sunekos treatment;
Relatively young skin;
One treatment cycle of 4 sessions 7 to 10 days apart. Each of the four sessions is an important part of the treatment process and your entire treatment will not be complete until the session is completed. Results last around 6 months and can be repeated once or twice a year.
Mature, wrinkled and sagging skin;
One treatment cycle of 4 sessions, 7 to 10 days apart. On first session a combination of Sunekos 1200 and 200 is injected on same treatment session, followed by 3 sessions of Sunekos 200, 7 to 10 days apart.
Each of the four sessions is an important part of the treatment process and your entire treatment will not be complete until the session is completed. Results last around 6 months and can be repeated once or twice a year.
What can be achieved with SuneKos treatments?
Patients can expect:
– Lifting/tightening effect
– Reduction of wrinkle severity
– Improvement in deep skin hydration
– Improvement in skin surface hydration
– Improvement in dark circles/ tear troughs (if this area is treated)
What areas can be treated with SuneKos?
SuneKos can be used to treat:
- Forehead, Crows Feet and Frown lines
- Any facial lines and wrinkles
- Cheeks, nasolabial folds to soften signs of aging and add firmness and hydration
- Improving pre-jowls areas and restore volume across the mid face
- Dark circles and bags under the eyes caused by thinning of the skin
- The hands, neck and decollate
How quickly will I notice benefits?
You can see an improvement as the treatments progress, but for the very best results possible, the complete course of 4 sessions must be completed in the time allocated (7-10 days apart).
Is there any downtime?
There is no downtime. You will be advised of the aftercare during your appointment which will include no exercise or heat treatments for 24 hours, no alcohol for 24 hours and no makeup of the treated area for 48 hours. Some slight redness may be noticed at the injection sight but this will reduce within hours. With all injections there is a risk of bruising and swelling but this is typically minimal.

What is the difference between Profhilo and SuneKos?
Both treatments are effective skin boosters which improve the appearance of the skin through a process of cell remodellng. However, SuneKos, can be used in a more prescriptive fashion and tailored to the individual and their problem areas.
Unlike Profhilo, SuneKos can also be used around the eye area to to treat hollowing and dark circles as well as the forehead, frown lines, smokers lines, marionette lines and lines around the chin and jowl area.
